Installing Mutant

Download

Download the installer from the Download page. The file is named Mutant_Setup_X.Y.Z.exe, about 104 MB.

The installer is thin: on first run the app downloads ~500 MB of dependencies (Python, ffmpeg, yt-dlp and more) from our server.

Running

Run the downloaded file. Windows SmartScreen may warn you because the app is not code-signed yet:

1. Click "More info"
2. Then "Run anyway"
3. Verify the sha256 checksum from the download page

Dependency download

After installation the app checks the environment and downloads the missing components. This is a one-time operation.

Next

Once installed, move on to activating your key.
